Next year the UN Millennium Goals expire. The goals were created to give measureable targets to the international community for sustainable developmen. For the post 2015 period, the new goals are now being formulated by the UN. With the ‘Charter on the role of business, civil society and cross-sector partnerships in the Post-2015 Development Agenda’, leading Dutch organizations express their intent to collaborate and carry these new goals forward. Signatories are companies like DSM, Philips, Unilever, AkzoNobel, Friesland Campina, ABN AMRO and civil society organizations like ICCO, CNV International, HIVOS, Oxfam Novib and Save the Children.
The Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation Liliane Ploumen will participate in the meeting. Please find more information on the website of Worldconnectors.
